The comeback of Tesco products at Spinneys

Tesco, the least among the known best big three supermarket dealers in the whole world has been reintroduced to all of branches of Spinneys that have been located widely in the Middle East region and in North Africa.


The reinstatement of Tesco products to the lanes of every Spinneys stores including Lebanon brought a lot of excitements to various shoppers as they can now choose from number of product choices. These include items from foods to beverages, deli and frozen products, to beauty, health and personal care products, to house cleaning products, to outdoor and car care products, and many more.

Spinneys’ adaptation of Tesco products is such a mere proof how serious it is to make a great change in the way people from Lebanon do their shopping. This serves as a response to the growing demand of consumers for a much wider variation of grocery products to select to.

Aside from the already known and established products of Tesco, they have plans to enhance line of products for the foods and non-foods products in hypermarkets and supermarket - homeplus as the example.  Also, to fit in the changing demand in products, Tesco has managed to modify its products according to consumer’s desires and needs. In addition, Tesco even established its very own Clubcard for easy monitoring of purchasing outline.

Not only that, the collaboration of Tesco and Spinneys strongly demonstrates the commitment of the two companies with an aim to make a better partnership in order to continue offering and providing quality and reasonably-priced best products in the global market. This happen though through the initiative and all out support of British CEO Michael Wright - the Spinneys CEO, as he sees the rise in need of consumers in Lebanon.

According to the recent news, Tesco has an equivalent turnover of 54.9 [billion pounds] or 66.8 [billion euros] - ranking third among its other competitors. The world’s leader Wal-Mart tops number one with corresponding 109 [billion dollars] and Carrefour (second) with 86.9 [billion Euros] claims.  In the previous years, though smaller in size compared to Carrefour, Tesco made an even bigger profit.

Today, it still holds an excellent stand or position in terms of market share, more specifically in the UK.  Yes, Tesco’s strong foundation is in UK and with its strategic planning and improvement schemes, no doubt it was able to strengthened its stand globally.

The presence of Tesco products back in Spinneys store Lebanon is such a smart move made by the approving officers and of course by the very good leader and Spinneys CEO Michael Wright who believes in the power of partnership.
